Elizabeth Clark, Associate Director of the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, joined panelists Robin Fretwell Wilson, Roger and Stephany Joslin Professor of Law at the University of Illinois College of Law; Matt Sharp, Senior Counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom; and Tobias Barrington Wolff, Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School to discuss challenges to religious liberty today. The program was held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA on March 27, 2019 in partnership with Interfaith Philadelphia as a part of their year-long civil dialogue series, A Year of Civil Conversations. The four panelists debated issues where religious liberty collides with anti-discrimination laws and regulations protecting LGBTQ and other minority groups.
