Aldo Zammit Borda is an associate professor in International Law at City, University of London. He previously served as Director of the Centre for Access to Justice and Inclusion at Anglia Ruskin University. His expertise lies in international criminal justice. His book on Histories in International Criminal Courts and Tribunals (Springer/TMC Asser 2020) engages with the concept of responsible history in the practice of criminal courts and tribunals. Before joining academia, Zammit Borda practiced in the area of international law, as a first secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malta. He also worked as a legal editor at the Commonwealth Secretariat. In 2013–14, he was a research associate at King’s College London, working on an EU FP7–funded project related to counterterrorism.
