Paolo Costa is a researcher at the Center for Religious Studies of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Trento, Italy). He is a Moral and Political Philosopher by training and has studied at the Universities of Milan, Toronto, and Parma (where he earned his Ph.D. in Philosophical Anthropology). His main research interests are in the fields of contemporary philosophy, philosophy of biology, and secularization theory. He is the author of five books and more than one hundred articles and essays. He has translated into Italian works by, among others, H. Arendt, C. Darwin, H. Joas, H. Cox, C. Taylor. His last book is a systematic reconstruction of the recent secularization debate (La città post- secolare. Il nuovo dibattito sulla secolarizzazione, Brescia: Queriniana, 2019).
